雅思口說:讓你衝高分的必學口語諺語




hi 我又回來了!今天要跟大家分享31個必學的高分口語諺語,在使用的時候只用在口說上,雅思寫作強調正式性以及學術性寫作,不適合使用諺語(idioms)

什麼是idioms? 就是光看看不出來什麼意思的組詞,要有學過才會知道。idioms 在英文口說中非常常見,在美劇中也常常可以看見,因此也推薦大家特別去學idioms,學會了會很有成就感唷!

讓我們來看看今天的idioms


1.     Hit the nail on the head (一針見血):

When you said that our company needs to focus more on customer service, you really hit the nail on the head.

當你說我們公司需要更加關注客戶服務時,你真的一針見血。


2.     Cut corners (偷工減料):

The construction company was accused of cutting corners to finish the project faster.

這家建築公司被指控為了更快地完成項目而偷工減料。


3.     Beat around the bush (拐彎抹角):

Stop beating around the bush and tell me directly what you want to say.

別拐彎抹角了,直接告訴我你想說什麼。


4.     Break the ice (打破沉默):

Playing a game helped break the ice at the team meeting.

玩遊戲幫助打破了團隊會議上的沉默。


5.     Get the ball rolling (開始進行):

Let's get the ball rolling on the new marketing campaign.

讓我們開始進行新的營銷活動。


6.     Keep someone posted (隨時通知某人):

Please keep me posted on any updates regarding the project.

7.     Wrap one's head around (理解,領會):
